it’ an associate degree in nursing,could it also apply as degree in health.
small hospitals where your understaffed. pts. are just not being taken care of as well. and the pt load was the worse. doing total care and all labs. there are no red flags on me.

Why don’t you take a refresher course and get your license back? We could sure use you. There is such a shortage in nursing. Without your license, you could be an aide for floor work, or maybe some admin job clerical job.

umm….firefighter is worse because you inhale a lot of smoke,you have a good chance of dying if you have to go in and save people,and you don’t get payed as much…

A lot are restricting to 18 and older because of the lifts that you cannot use until you are 18 but there are still some that can do any age. It depends on the agency.

Hi! I’m in nursing school at the moment and I’ve been kinda job shopping just to see what I can expect when I get out and researching different experience requirements, but what I’ve found is that (it seems like) 99.99999% of places require at least 1 year of experience.
My question is what kind of jobs are available for fresh nursing grads? And what jobs are best for fresh grads?
My goal is to be a med-surg nurse for a while before working on CC for 2 years and going for a CRNA. I really love operating rooms. I know that’s odd, but it’s always been a dream of mine to me near surgery. Lol

You should talk with your school adviser or counselor, but with the nursing shortage you shouldn’t have any problems getting a job. Good Luck!

I know of another teen who works at the nursing home as a dietary aid (cleaning dishes, etc) but what else? Cleaning, changing diapers, stocking supplies? And how do I go about getting a job there? Do I just show up and say I want a job there?

Yes you can go there and say that you’re willing ot assist in the nursing home. I am not sure what they would be able to get you since there are some thing that you cannot do at your age.

One of the high paying jobs for nurses offering here at Qatar is the Hammad Hospital, this is government owned company. They pay at least QR10000 basic plus accommodation.
