I was just wondering about this because I’m thinking about getting a job as a nurse’s aide. Given, I’m old enough. I’m seventeen years old.

A lot are restricting to 18 and older because of the lifts that you cannot use until you are 18 but there are still some that can do any age. It depends on the agency.

Just continue to look for a job in a newpaper, or even call the local hospital(s) and nursing homes.

Hello! I know of one place in Florence that will pay CNA’s full time (36 hours) When they work 2 12 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday. So you’d work 24 but get paid for 36 hours. I’d love to do this but currently they are not hiring.DOes anyone out there know if there are other places in the area that offer this? Hospitals included?

It makes it hard to look for jobs when some places call it a Certified Nurse Aide, some it’s called a Patient Care Tech, so is Nursing Assistant the same thing?
