Question by aquez16: I’m a nurse thinking or relocating to Texas, which city is more pleasant to live in San Antonio or Houston?
How is the nursing job market in San Antonio and Houston?
Best answer:
Answer by Blue
I personally prefer San Antonio. However, not knowing your preferences, I can’t say which city is best for you.
I would suggest doing some online searching on both cities.
Online research will also help you evaluate the nursing job market.

Question by Talia: I got into both Los Angeles City College and Pasadena City college for Nursing, but I dont know which one to?
choose, which has a better RN program?
Best answer:
Answer by binks
1. You don’t apply to junior colleges – you only “register”, there is no application process therefore no need to say you “got into” them.
2. PCC is a better school in terms of recognition for transfer. I go to UCLA as a sophomore and PCC is one of the more popular transfer schools, as is Santa Monica CC.

Question by takeonme86: How much does the nursing program at LACC (Los Angeles City College) cost?
The person on the phone was not helpful. She just kept telling me about the info session I missed, because I hadn’t been considering LACC early enough to know about it. How much does the entire associates degree in nursing program cost there?
Best answer:
Answer by Mike S
LACC charges $ 20 per unit and each class is about 3 units. The nursing program is about 38 units total. So you’re looking at around $ 760. But there are also other fees to attend the school.
Associated Student Fee – $ 7
Student Representation Fee – $ 1
Health Services – $ 11
Parking Pass (Regular) $ 20 or (Preferred) $ 27
Oh and don’t forget books, which will be your most expensive items. However you can sell them back at the end of the semester, at a loss though.
Here is the nursing program: http://catalog.lacitycollege.edu/pages/nursing.htm
