By medical I mean something involved with anatomy/biology… Though not interested in nursing. What are some jobs in these fields and what is the likelyhood of getting a job?

My brother’s studying to become a physicians assistant. It sounds like a good deal to me. The pay is almost the same as a doctor but you only need 6 years of school. You also aren’t liable for malpractice suits (but the doctor can still fire you if you mess up).

He’s has lots of offers for a job and he just started medical school.

Jobs Q&A: Nursing jobs in specialty fields?

Question by Sara: Nursing jobs in specialty fields?
I am in the RPN program, otherwise known as the LPN. I am interested in specializing in a field. Currently I am interested in constructive/cosmetic surgery and fitness. What kind of work would I be looking at or what types of jobs could I do within these fields?

You don’t get to choose that yet at this moment of your nursing career.

You will have to start out at a hospital first – medical / surgical floor, and after that, you will have to take additional course to work in the OR, and hopefully you will get hired.
