Yes, absolutely. They background check you extensively in nursing. However, no worries..it’s a stupid field to get into anyway. Pay is horrible, no jobs, africans/jamaicans come here and steal the jobs for dirt cheap prices…and it’s the most abusive field EVER.

Question by tetanecessity: can a degree from university of phoenix online get me a travelling nurse job?
Best answer:
Answer by Judy
Much of nursing education involves clinical work, which is actually hands-on. How does U of Phoenix do this? If you get a nursing degree that doesn’t include clinical work, it’s not real likely that you’ll be able to get a job.

Question by Jinyan: Do someone know can I change my college major from nurse to pharmacist?

To be a pharmacist, you need to either apply directly to a 6-year BS/PharmD program, or instead earn a bachelors degree in something (chemistry is good) with pre-pharm classes, and then apply to a pharmacy school after college. Nursing isn’t going to help you here. If you can’t take chemistry at your school, transfer to a school where you can.

Question by Leiah: Has anyone transfered from riverside community college to Cal state long beach or UCLA for nursing?
Best answer:
Answer by ♥
I’m sure it has happened. If you get a decent GPA in CC, you should definitely transfer to Cal States.
But, its a lot harder for UCLA, you need a 3.7 or higher to have a high chance of getting in. Also, nursing is extremely competitive so good grades is very very important.
