Question by marklar: would it be less stressful, more stressful, or about the same to be a ultrasound technician than a nurse?
I am considering becoming an ultrasound technician/sonographer or a nurse. A nurse has more job demand, but a technician might be more enjoyable. I’m not sure which one I would like better. I would appreciate any information that would help me decide. Thank you!
would I be able to find a job in almost any location I wanted if I were a technician? or would that require even higher job demand, like being a nurse. I might like to live in or near Seattle, Washington.

It would be much more stressful to be a nurse. Their job demands much more from them and they see much more.

Question by Natasha M: How does one become an ultrasound nurse and how long is the program?
I was wondering how you go about becoming an ultrasound nurse and perhaps how much the education costs(approximately). Also, how long do you have to go to school for it?
