Question by M D: Nursing Path Question, College Choice. Years In School?
Hi there! just wondering how long it would take to become a nurse anesthesiologist? I’ve always been intrested in the field, but have been wondering about the schools, and time in school. I’m genuinly inteested in the career, but i wanna know how long it takes to become a nursing anesthesiologist?

And, i’ve been thinking Mcgill in montreal for college. (How hard is it to get in, and is it good?)

In typical situations, it takes 4 years to get the required Bachelor in Nursing degree, then they require you to have a year or two experience in Intensive care nursing, and then you have to get your Master’s degree (Nurse Anesthetist) which takes 2 years if full time student. The schooling itself alltogether is 6 years, and that’s not counting the experience you need as a Critical/Intensive care RN.
