Q&A: Would you hire a personal nurse to organize you or your parents ?

Question by tweety: Would you hire a personal nurse to organize you or your parents ?
I want to know if anyone would hire a nurse to organize someones medical life. This means getting notes from doctors visits, bloodwork, meds. Then making sure the family gets updates as to what is going on at every apt, any changes or concerns from the Dr?

Most people would in such a case send their ailing parents to a nursing home.. but they would hire a heath care worker for helping out with tasks of daily living… , helping their parents to get someone with some medical training to take care of them in their own home by helping to dress bathe and sometimes feed them or prepare meals.. that is a way the sick parents don’t have to go into a nursing home and still get qualified and good care from someone who is trained … and a lot of people would hire someone to to that. it would also be done on the basis to give them .. the family respite.. so that someone takes over the care on certain days for a certain amount of hours and the family can go and do something else and have a live apart from being there for their ailing parents around the clock and know they leave them in good hands…. I would do that.. pay someone for looking after an ailing parent in my home .. and take over when they are gone but to get some time for myself. I don’t like the idea of putting them into a nursing home but if it is necessary then yes I would do it..xxx but prefer home help for as long as possible…xxx
